	Wed May 17, 2006 Asia Now Resources appoints Martin as Executive Chairman
	Asia Now Resources Corp. (TSXV: NOW) announces that Philip S. Martin has been appointed Executive Chairman of the Company. The Company also announces that James S. Borland has been appointed Executive Vice President of the Company. Mr. Martin, who has resigned as Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Borland and Company President Kaihui Yang will form an Office of the Chief Executive Officer. As Executive Chairman, Mr. Martin will continue to act as the Company's main spokesman. Mr. Borland, a director of an Asia Now predecessor company, will be responsible for corporate administration and Dr. Yang will be responsible for exploration activities in China. This management restructuring, which is effective immediately, follows the successful listing of the Company on the TSX Venture Exchange earlier this year.
