Asia Now Resources Corp. (TSXV: NOW) reports today that the Company received the Prospecting and Exploration Outstanding Achievements Award at the China Mining Conference 2011 held in Tianjin on November 6-8, 2011. This Award was granted in recognition of the progress that the Company has made in exploring its Beiya Project, one of the most prospective areas in China (see news release dated February 22, 2011), adjacent to the open-pit Beiya Gold Mine that produces 200,000 ounces of gold annually. Dr. Kaihui Yang, President and CEO of the Company, said, "We are honoured to receive this prestigious reward from the Chinese government. It recognizes not only the technical merits of our Beiya Project, it is also testament to our excellent relationships with local communities and the provincial and federal authorities. We also believe that this is an illustration of the value placed by the Chinese government on recognizing and encouraging Chinese-foreign cooperation in mineral exploration and mining." The China Mining Conference is organized annually by the Ministry of Land and Resources of the Chinese Central Government. Since 2010 the technical agencies under the Ministry and Yunnan Provincial Government have reviewed monthly the exploration work that the Company has been carrying out at the Beiya project. The Company has been drilling for resource definition on the Qinghe block of Beiya, and RPA (Roscoe Postle Associates) is preparing the first resource estimate and NI43-101 report for the Beiya project, that is planned to be completed late this fall.
